Live at the Globe, 3 years ago!
3 years ago we did our first gig ever!
It was at The Globe at Hay of course and it was quite a special moment.
Nobody knew what to expect and quite a few people were blown away. Quite a few people ran away screaming and never completely recovered.
Al Ashford who was doing the sound that night recorded everything without telling us and mixed what would become our second EP, Live at the Globe. We did a few CDs of this and it is now completely sold out (!) but still available digitally (free): https://moongoosecult.bandcamp.com/album/live-at-the-globe
Thanks to the friends that came to see us that night and thanks to those who came to the next gigs! We can’t wait to go back out there!

Hibernation
Hi goslings,
Like everybody else we enter now a kind of hibernation state due to the pandemic and retreat to the Moon. Space is the way!
Our gig in Hay on 25h April has been cancelled, hopefully to be rescheduled later.
The plans to take part in a magnificent Prog Fest at the end of March also.
We might be able to do the planned gig in Birmingham late May if all of this is behind us at the time.
In the meantime enjoy a sneaky preview of a new track called Edible Druid, mixed by Ryan Jordan.
Take care of you and yours and stay safe.
Happy Birthday Rob! ?
Today is a special day (again)!
It’s Rob‘s birthday! Rob is the bass master of the band and you know that the punk he used to be is still there when he turns on the fuzz pedal and start jamming seriously.
Rob is also our driver in the GooseMobile (which has known different incarnations)!
Happy Birthday Rob! ?

Summoning the Spirit
We’re assembling the ingredients and brushing up our incantations.
When the Moon is full, soon, we will gather and start the ceremony.
The incantations are using a forgotten language and the ritual is complex but this is the only way to summon Leon, our spirit producer, to transform our new tracks into a new album.
Happy New Year!
2019 has been a great year for us. After 2 Eps self-released in 2018, we have finally released our debut album Source Code, a splendid double album with a limited edition double gatefold white or clear, thanks to the brilliant Fruits de Mer Records. We sold out on the day of release and had to repress. We got some great feedback, nice airplay and even made it to a few top ten of the year (much appreciated!).
We have also done quite a few gigs (including one in a Church for Source Code’s Release Party) and have played with great bands (including Ecstatic Vision, Lacertilia, Cybernetic Witch Cult, Darsombra and more), played at Latitude Festival, and at the 17th Dream of Dr Sardonicus in Cardigan with a crazy line-up. We made tons of new friends and are very thankful for all that.
What’s next for 2020?
Well, I think we started working on the second album even before the first one was released… It should come out later this year if all goes according to plan. We still have a few songs to polish, record, and produce before we send everything to the factory. More on that soon.
Happy New Year!
